Bà nhận bằng tiến sĩ Quản trị Kinh doanh từ Đại học Kinh tế Quốc dân và thạc sĩ Khoa học Marketing từ Đại học Birmingham, Vương quốc Anh. TS. Dung có nhiều nghiên cứu nổi bật được công bố trên các tạp chí quốc tế uy tín như International Journal of Bank Marketing, International Journal of Business and Society, và Borsa Istanbul Review.
